Tampa Police are conducting an investigation into a shooting that took place on the 8100 block of N. 13th St. shortly after 4:00 pm on Wednesday. The incident involved two individuals, an adult black male and a black male in his late teens, who were both wounded by gunfire but sustained non-life-threatening injuries. They have been taken to a nearby hospital for medical care.

According to preliminary reports, the two victims were engaged in a gunfire exchange with occupants of a newer model, dark-colored vehicle. The vehicle left the scene immediately after the incident occurred.

Detectives are in the initial phase of this ongoing investigation, working to collect evidence and establish the circumstances of the shooting. Their efforts include identifying and locating all parties involved.
