Drivers in Tampa should prepare for increased traffic around the Tampa Convention Center from February 15 to 17. The center will host the Gasparilla Volleyball Kickoff, attracting thousands of athletes and their families. The tournament runs from Saturday to Monday, with events scheduled between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m., and doors opening at 6:45 a.m. on the first two days. On Monday, activities are set from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Officials anticipate peak congestion at the beginning and end of each day due to the high volume of attendees. This event coincides with other major happenings in Downtown Tampa, including concerts at Amalie Arena on Saturday and Sunday nights.
