U.S. Representative Kathy Castor, who has been serving Florida's 14th district since 2007, recently shared her views on various issues through a series of tweets. Castor, born in Miami and currently residing in Tampa, has a background in law with degrees from Emory University and Florida State University.

On January 31, 2025, Rep. Castor expressed gratitude towards an individual named Mike for his contributions to the community. She stated: "Thank you Mike for your selfless aid to our neighbors! "

The following day, February 1, 2025, she criticized economic policies that she believes disadvantage hardworking Americans and allies while benefiting billionaires. Her tweet read: "Way to stick hardworking Americans with higher prices! And way to stick it to our allies instead of our adversaries! Meanwhile, billionaires are making out like bandits. It’s not just their front row inauguration seats. They want more $ & they’ll gut Medicaid/Medicare to get it"

On February 2, 2025, Rep. Castor addressed the impact of tariffs introduced by former President Donald Trump on consumer prices. She remarked: "#TrumpTariffs will increase the cost of nearly everything—including food, energy, and housing. See nonpartisan analysis here Next time you’re at the store and you think prices are too high, thank @realDonaldTrump #Trumpflation"
