Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Laurel Lee of Florida's 15th district has been appointed as Vice Chair of the House Administration Committee and Chair of the Subcommittee on Elections for the 119th Congress. The House Administration Committee is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the House of Representatives, legislative branch functions, and federal elections.

"It is an honor to be named the Vice Chair of the Committee on House Administration as well as the Chair of the Subcommittee on Elections," said Rep. Laurel Lee. She highlighted her previous role as Florida’s Secretary of State, where she managed state elections and worked towards enhancing voter confidence and election security. "I would like to thank Chairman Steil for his leadership on these important issues and his confidence in me to serve in these roles. I look forward to continuing our work to ensure election integrity in the 119th Congress."
