Tampa prepares for road closures ahead of MLK Day Parade

Parade season in Tampa will continue with traffic detours and road closures as the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade takes place on January 20, 2025. The event is set to start at noon at Cuscaden Park, situated at the intersection of 15th Street and 21st Avenue.

The parade will affect several roads from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The impacted routes include N 15th St between E Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and E 17th Ave, N Ave Republica de Cuba/N 14th St from E 21st Ave to E 17th Ave, and E Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd stretching from N Nebraska Ave to N 22nd St. Additionally, N 22nd St between E Hillsborough Ave and E Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd will be closed.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed about all road closures across Tampa.
