Tampa Convention Center hosts Gasparilla brunch among other January events

The Tampa Convention Center is set to host a series of events this January, with the Gasparilla Pirate Invasion Brunch Experience being a highlight. This event will take place on January 25 and offers attendees a brunch buffet along the Tampa Riverwalk, providing an optimal view of the pirate invasion. Tickets for this event do not include reserved parade seating or parking.

Other notable events include the Florida Music Education Association (FMEA) Professional Development Conference from January 8-11, which is one of the largest music education professional development gatherings in the United States. This event is exclusive to music educators and student musicians.

On January 16, the Tampa Veterans Job Fair will offer free hiring opportunities for military personnel, with over 50 organizations conducting interviews and making job offers. Complimentary parking will be available at Fort Brooke Parking Garage.

The Centre for Women Waves of Change Women’s Leadership Luncheon on January 24 will feature actress Brooke Shields as part of a fundraiser for the Helen Gordon Davis Centre for Women. The same evening, attendees can enjoy live music at the Rough Riders Pre-Gasparilla Invasion Party.
