Tampa Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at the intersection of E Bougainvillea Ave and McKinley Dr. The incident took place just before 10:00 a.m., involving multiple vehicles.

Preliminary findings indicate that a Kia Sorento, turning onto East Bougainvillea Ave, was struck by a Dodge Ram traveling southbound on McKinley Dr. The driver of the Kia Sorento, an adult female in her late 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the Dodge Ram were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A third vehicle, also heading southbound on McKinley Dr., attempted to avoid the collision but ended up crashing into a wooded area. The male driver, who was alone in the vehicle, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.

A fourth vehicle was impacted by debris from the initial crash. Its sole occupant, an adult female driver, did not sustain any injuries.

Currently, East Bougainvillea Ave and McKinley Dr. remain closed as authorities conduct their investigation. Drivers are advised to use alternative routes during this time.
