Tampa Republic

Tampa Police are currently investigating a traffic crash resulting in a fatality in the 2200 block of E. Fowler Avenue. Preliminary reports reveal a motorcycle struck a Chevy pickup truck. Although officers provided emergency first aid, the motorcyclist died as a result of the crash. The driver of the pickup was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The eastbound lanes of Fowler Ave are currently closed to traffic between N. 22nd St and N. 30th St. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes as officers conduct the investigation.
