U.S. Representative Kathy Castor, serving Florida’s 14th district since 2007, has voiced her opinions on recent political issues through a series of tweets. Castor, who replaced Jim Davis in Congress and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, shared her views on matters involving the White House and international relations.

On March 6, 2025, Castor expressed her concern regarding the current administration's actions. She urged "House Republicans need to find their spines and stand up to the chaos and confusion coming from the White House." Emphasizing the impact on everyday Americans, she stated that "our neighbors' wallets, jobs and livelihoods depend on it."

The following day, March 7, 2025, Castor criticized former President Donald Trump's policies toward Ukraine. In one tweet, she remarked that "Trump’s capitulation to Putin endangers & freedom-loving people everywhere." She highlighted the plight of Ukrainian families who have found refuge in America but are now facing uncertainty due to policy changes.

In another tweet posted shortly after on March 7, 2025, Castor accused Trump of not honoring commitments made to Ukrainian refugees. She wrote that "Trump is breaking a promise made to displaced Ukrainian families that they would have a temporary haven from Russia’s war." She acknowledged Europe's efforts in providing shelter for many displaced Ukrainians while describing Trump's actions as particularly harsh.
