Tampa Police are investigating a disturbance that occurred on Saturday night in the parking lot of the AMC at 18002 Highwoods Preserve. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 10:00 p.m. on November 30, 2024.
During the incident, one shot was fired into the air by an individual involved in the disturbance. Fortunately, no one was struck by the gunfire. However, three people sustained minor injuries as they fled from the area.
Authorities have clarified that this was not an active shooter situation. The investigation is still ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
