The City of Tampa has announced the launch of “Suds and Solutions,” an initiative aimed at providing residents with information on city services and programs while offering free laundry services. The event is scheduled for July 10, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM (last wash at 4:30 PM) at Riverside Laundromat, located at 906 West MLK Jr. Boulevard in Tampa.

"Suds and Solutions" will allow Tampa residents to learn about various city services, including public safety and housing programs, while their laundry is being washed. The event is free and open to the public, featuring employees from different City of Tampa departments who will be available to provide information and answer questions.

“We are always looking for innovative ways to connect with our residents and provide them with the resources they need. 'Suds and Solutions' is a perfect example of how we can bring our services directly to the community in a convenient and helpful manner,” said Mayor Jane Castor.

The event is hosted by the City of Tampa Community Engagement & Partnerships team in collaboration with Current Initiatives, a local non-profit organization behind The Laundry Project.
