TAMPA, Fla. - The Tampa Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that left an 11-year-old boy injured. The incident took place on Sunday, February 11th, at around 10:17pm, at the C. Blythe Andrews Apartments on 2201 E Osborne Avenue. The young boy was shot while standing on his front porch by an unknown suspect.

The victim was rushed to the hospital and received medical treatment for his non-life-threatening injuries. Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw expressed his concern for the young victim and his family, stating, "Our thoughts are with this family as this senseless act has left an innocent child in our community injured."
