Tampa, FL - In the early morning hours of January 18, 2024, tragedy struck in the 1900 block of E Wilder Ave as authorities responded to a report of a deceased individual. The Tampa Police Department is actively investigating the homicide, working diligently to uncover the circumstances surrounding the incident and identify a suspect.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered the lifeless body of a black adult male who had sustained severe upper body trauma. The authorities have not released the identity of the victim at this time.
