Tampa Police Seek Assistance In Identifying Burglary Suspect

Tampa Police detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in a burglary at Corona Coffee on January 7, 2024. The incident occurred at approximately 1:00 a.m. when the suspect used a brick or rock to break the glass of the front door and entered the establishment. Once inside, the suspect was captured on video taking money from the register.

The Tampa Police Department has released the surveillance video, which can be viewed at this link: https://youtu.be/n431V2dygjA. Authorities are hoping that someone will recognize the suspect and provide valuable information to aid in the investigation.

Describing the suspect, the police believe him to be a black or Hispanic male, approximately 40-50 years old, with short black hair and a goatee. They are urging anyone with information about the suspect's identity to come forward and assist with the case.

In a statement, the Tampa Police Department said, "Anyone with information that could assist in identifying the suspect involved in this burglary is asked to call the Tampa Police Department at 813-231-6130." They also added that individuals who wish to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at 800-873-TIPS (8477) or via Tip411.

The Tampa Police Department is working diligently to solve this case and bring the suspect to justice. They are relying on the support and cooperation of the community to identify the individual responsible for this crime.
