The City of Tampa, including Old City Hall, the Tampa Riverwalk and Downtown bridges, will light up in blue and yellow tonight at sunset in celebration of the Tampa Bay Rays Opening Weekend.
Last year, the Rays finished with a 100–62 record, winning the American League East division title for the second consecutive season and marking the first time in franchise history to win 100 games.
The sold out first game of the Rays Opening Series against the Baltimore Orioles will be played at 3:10pm at Tropicana Field.
