Congresswoman Laurel Lee's recent social media posts reflect her engagement with both local events and national issues. Representing Florida's 15th district since 2023 after succeeding Scott Franklin, Lee has been an active participant in her community and various national discussions.

On April 11, 2025, Congresswoman Lee shared her experience from the annual Sun 'n Fun Aerospace Expo held in Lakeland. Lee remarked on the event, stating, "I had an incredible time at the annual @SunnFunFlyIn in Lakeland last weekend! It was great to see so many familiar faces." She highlighted that the expo attracts over 200,000 visitors, marking it as a premier aviation gathering at the Lakeland Linder Airport.

Congresswoman Lee, 49, currently resides in Tampa. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and has been serving in Congress since 2023. Lee has an academic background from the University of Florida, completing her BA in 1996 and earning her JD in 1999. Before her congressional tenure, she served in the Florida House of Representatives.
