U.S. Representative Kathy Castor, who has been serving in Congress representing Florida's 14th district since 2007, shared her thoughts on a range of political issues recently. The Congresswoman, originally from Miami and currently residing in Tampa, highlighted key aspects of her agenda through a series of social media posts.

On April 2, 2025, Castor expressed her support for more inclusive representation in Congress, particularly for parents with newborns: "Yes @RepPettersen! We need a Congress that better reflects including parents with newborns to inform how we ensure moms and babies are healthy and well, paid family leave + affordable child care."

Later that day, on April 2, 2025, Castor made a comment on what she sees as irresponsible economic policies, suggesting that they would have detrimental effects: "Fitting for his erratic move to crash the economy and cost people more $"

On April 3, 2025, Castor commented on former President Donald Trump's tariffs, which she refers to as "wallet-busting": "My statement on Trump’s Wallet-Busting Tariffs #TrumpSlump"
