On March 14, 2025, Rep. Castor tweeted about the challenges faced by residents due to high utility costs. She quoted Sabrina Christie from Hillsborough County who told a committee: "High utility costs are making it harder and harder for people like me to afford necessities," urging the Florida Legislature to support hardworking Floridians and small business owners.
On March 15, 2025, she commented on former President Donald Trump's impact on the country with a tweet stating: "Trump is making weaker and less safe. It is sure to hurt Americans and businesses financially too."
The following day, March 16, 2025, Rep. Castor honored U.S. Representative Nita Lowey's legacy through another tweet: "U.S. Representative Nita Lowey’s legacy is remarkable esp re women, health, education and national security. She was smart, kind and a force for good." She expressed her condolences to Lowey's family and community.
