U.S. Representative Kathy Castor, serving Florida’s 14th district since 2007, has expressed her concerns and views on recent political actions through a series of tweets. These messages highlight her positions on presidential pardons, energy policy, and healthcare legislation.

On January 21, 2025, Rep. Castor criticized former President Donald Trump's decision to pardon individuals involved in the January 6 riots. She stated: "It’s unconscionable that Trump pardoned ALL Jan 6 rioters even those convicted of violently attacking police officers."

The following day, on January 22, she commented on the implications of President Trump's policies regarding consumer energy costs and environmental impact. She remarked: "With the stroke of his pen, President Trump appears determined to stick consumers with higher electric bills & the devastating impacts of the heating planet." Castor emphasized the need for prioritizing family interests over those of major oil and gas companies.

Later that same day, Rep. Castor celebrated legislative achievements benefiting small businesses under Democratic leadership. She tweeted: "A WIN FOR SMALL BUSINESSES! The ACA is critical for my neighbors who are small business owners or self employed." This tweet underscored her support for health care legislation providing premium tax credits to nearly nine out of ten eligible individuals.
