The City of Tampa's Department of Solid Waste has announced a change in the operating hours for its hurricane vegetative debris sites. This adjustment is due to the end of daylight saving time.

Starting Sunday, November 3, 2024, residents can access two free drop-off sites for vegetative storm debris. These sites are located at 22nd Street Park, 7801 N. 22nd Street, and Gadsen Park, 6901 S MacDill Avenue. The new operating hours will be from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm every day of the week.

Residents can check their scheduled collection dates through the Tampa Trash and Recycling tool available on the Department of Solid Waste Recycling webpage or by downloading the app from Apple and Google Play App stores. The tool also offers an option to sign up for reminder notifications.

For further inquiries or concerns, customers can contact the City of Tampa Utilities Call Center at (813) 274-8811 or visit tampa.gov/SolidWaste.
