U.S. Representative Kathy Castor, serving Florida's 14th district since 2007, recently shared her views on economic and healthcare policies through a series of tweets. Born in Miami in 1966, Castor has been an active political figure, with a background that includes a BA from Emory University and a JD from Florida State University.

On March 11, 2025, Rep. Castor expressed criticism of former President Trump's economic policies. She stated that these policies benefit billionaires like Elon Musk while negatively impacting hardworking families and small business owners. She described this situation as "un-American" in her tweet: "Trump economic policies are good for Elon Musk and other billionaires, but harmful to hardworking families and small business owners."

Later the same day, Castor addressed issues related to the Affordable Care Act (ACA), emphasizing Trump's efforts to undermine it. She highlighted that Florida leads the nation in ACA enrollment and warned about significant coverage losses due to proposed rule changes: "Trump is relentless in trying to sabotage the Affordable Care Act."

In another tweet posted shortly after, Rep. Castor reiterated her concerns about healthcare access in Florida under Trump's influence: "Trump is trying to take away health care in Florida, and he knows it."
