Tampa Police detectives are investigating an armed robbery that took place at the Little Caesars Pizza located at 6932 N Armenia Ave. just before 7:30 pm on Sunday, August 4, 2024.

Investigators have obtained additional evidence showing the suspect driving what appears to be a mid-2000s Nissan Frontier pickup truck with a black hood and aftermarket black rims.

Detectives are requesting the community to examine the photographs of the pickup and review the video in hopes that someone may recognize the truck or the suspect.

As previously reported, the armed suspect entered the store and threatened two employees with a handgun. The employees safely retreated to the rear of the business. No injuries were reported during the incident. The suspect attempted to access the safe but was unsuccessful and left without any money or property.

The suspect, captured on video, is described as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 5’8” tall and weighing around 220 pounds with a noticeable “pot belly.” His face was completely covered by a multicolored mask. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt, jeans with multiple designs, and white tennis shoes.

Detectives are actively working to locate the truck and identify and apprehend the suspect. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Tampa Police Department at 813.231.6130 or contact Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay.
