TAMPA, FL. (July 22, 2024) -- Tampa Police officers are investigating a deadly shooting.
At 1:00 pm, officers responded to the 1000 Block of East Poinsettia for a reported shooting. Once officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult male with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. Detectives are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
This is an active investigation. Additional information will be released as available.
