The Tampa Convention Center Garage has been recognized as the "2024 Innovative Facility of the Year" by the National Parking Association (NPA). This award highlights its role in supporting events at the Tampa Convention Center and across Downtown. The NPA, established in 1951, is a leading parking trade organization in North America, representing over 2,500 commercial and public organizations.
Recent upgrades to the garage have focused on improving operations and quality of life for users. Notably, it has become Florida's first "frictionless" garage with gate arms, camera sensors, and a multi-app payment system. These changes aim to enhance safety and customer experience.
The facility offers 443 parking spaces and is one of four frictionless garages managed by the Parking Division.
