The Tampa Convention Center is set to host Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. for their 84th International Grand Conclave from June 26 to July 2. The event is expected to draw nearly 30,000 visitors to Downtown Tampa and the surrounding areas, with an estimated economic impact of $10,959,410 according to Visit Tampa Bay.

Omega Psi Phi holds historical significance as the first international fraternal organization founded on the campus of a historically black college. This marks the fraternity's inaugural visit to Tampa. In celebration, several city landmarks will be illuminated in purple and gold, the fraternity's colors.

The biennial International Conclave brings members together for fellowship, development, and community service under this year's theme “Conclave with a Purpose.” Several community events are scheduled and open to the public.
