Tampa Police Arrest Six Individuals Following School Altercation

Six individuals, including two adults and three students, were arrested following a physical altercation at Chamberlain High School in Tampa. The incident, which took place on February 29, 2024, resulted in multiple charges for those involved.

According to the Tampa Police Department, the altercation occurred at 8:39 a.m. in the school's main hallway. The situation was quickly resolved by the school resource officer and additional police officers in collaboration with school security.

Among the individuals arrested were Jordan Ford and Stanley Louissaint, both adults not associated with the school, and three students. The students faced various charges ranging from possession of a weapon on school grounds to disrupting school campus functions.

Jynessa Brown, a 40-year-old employee of HCPS, was also implicated in the incident for assisting the adults in gaining entry to the school. Brown, who was off-duty at the time but dressed in full uniform, was charged with child abuse, disrupting school campus functions, and trespassing upon school grounds.

In response to the incident, additional police officers were present during the school's dismissal to ensure the safety of students and staff.
