Tampa Police Determine No Threat On Local School Campus

Tampa Police responded to a report of a suspicious device at Hillsborough High School on January 31, 2024. Following an anonymous 911 call, the school was evacuated and the Bomb Squad was called in to investigate the potential threat.

According to a statement from the Tampa Police Department, officers arrived at the school at approximately 1:27 p.m. and took immediate action to ensure the safety of the students and staff.
