Tampa Police Search For Shooting Suspects

Tampa Police Officers are searching for the suspects involved in a shooting at Chica's Cabaret that left one person injured.

On December 15, 2023, at 4:55 am, officers responded to a shooting at the Chica's Cabaret located at 4009 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. A security guard at the establishment was found with a gunshot wound and was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the victim are non-life-threatening.

Detectives are now seeking the public's assistance in identifying the two suspects involved in this incident. The Tampa Police Department has released a video that shows the suspects in question. According to the authorities, the shooting suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male with possible blonde hair, last seen wearing a black hoodie and a Bass Pro hat. The driver of the suspect vehicle is described as a Hispanic male in his twenties, approximately 5' 08" tall, weighing 175 pounds, with a medium build, short dark hair, and a tattoo on his neck.

The suspect vehicle, described as a mid-size dark SUV with stock features and an unknown make and model, fled northbound on N. Grady Ave. Tampa PD is urging anyone who can identify the suspect in the images to come forward and contact them immediately. They can be reached by calling 813-231-6130 or by sharing a tip through the TampaPD app's Tip411 feature.
