ALS RESPONSE: #TampasBravest is kicking off the new year with more ways to assist the Tampa Bay communities we serve. 90% of emergency calls that Tampa Fire Rescue responds to are medical.
To assist our first responders and decrease our response times to these calls, all of our Truck companies are now certified ALS (Advanced Life Support) vehicles. This means that we have six more vehicles on the road to enhance our current fleet with responding to medical emergencies and continuing to strengthen our level of service.
