The Tampa Police Department lost Officer Travis Comrey.
Officer Comrey supervised our Explorer Program.
This week our Explorers were scheduled to compete at the Florida Association of Police Explorer State Competition but unexpectedly cancelled their trip due to Officer Comrey’s passing.
Today, during the closing ceremony, Officer Travis Comrey was awarded the “2021 Florida Association of Police Explorers Advisor of the Year Award”! Our Tampa Police Explorer Post #275 proudly accepted the award on behalf of Officer Comrey!
Officer Comrey, you will forever be in our hearts! Congratulations and thank you for your service. We will take it from here.
