With less than two months to go before Election Day, it’s more important than ever the American people educate themselves about the candidates and what’s at stake this November. As President Trump demonstrated during his impressive victory in the first presidential debate, he has and will continue to support our troops, a point he highlighted during the first presidential which is why I’m supporting him to be our Commander-in-Chief for four more years.
Five years ago, then-candidate Donald J. Trump promised he would put America first and fully committed to making support for our brave men and women of the armed forces a driving force of his agenda. Five years later, I can wholeheartedly say the President has kept that promise. Now more than ever, it’s imperative we have a President who understands the global landscape and will continue to support our troops.
As Commander-in-Chief, President Trump has carried out a historic rebuilding of our nation’s military that the previous administration let languish, securing nearly $2.2 trillion in funding during his first three years in office. Additionally, President Trump also delivered the largest pay raise to our military in a decade as well. Serving our Nation in uniform is a humble duty and under President Trump’s leadership, our troops and their family members know he has their six.
President Trump’s foreign policy is rooted in achieving peace through strength. This was proven recently through the historic agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel. He has also done more than any other president when it comes to dealing with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un. For instance, he achieved a monumental summit with North Korea which is instrumental in thwarting their aggression.
Moreover, President Trump has overseen the destruction of ISIS with the death of their leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and terminating other terrorists intent on destroying the United States, such as Qasem Soleimani. America is safer with President Trump as our Commander-in-Chief.
At home, he is equally committed to keeping our parents, children, and grandchildren safe from evil forces as well. President Trump is truly the law and order candidate and will make sure anarchists and lawless agitators have no place in our neighborhoods. Operation Legend, for example, has made over 2,000 arrests of dangerous criminals since its launch.
The future of our great nation is at stake in November. The choice voters have in November is clear: Four more years of President Donald J. Trump means continued support for our troops and their family members, peace through strength, putting America first, and most importantly, keeping America safe.
