On March 5, 2025, Rep. Castor tweeted about the influence of billionaires in decision-making processes. She stated, "Billionaires don’t need a seat at the table—they already own the table. The real voices that matter? Workers, nurses, teachers and everyday Americans. Let’s put people first, not the ultra-rich."
In another tweet posted on the same day, she addressed former President Donald Trump's statements regarding Social Security. Castor asserted that "FACT CHECK: Trump is spreading incorrect numbers that the Social Security Administrator recently had to correct publicly. Trump is setting the stage to GUT your Social Security."
Further elaborating on fiscal policy, Castor expressed her views on taxation by criticizing Trump's tax cuts. On March 5, she tweeted "Let’s be clear: Trump’s tax cuts help the rich, not everyday Americans. We need tax fairness—where the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share so we can invest in schools, health care and infrastructure."
