Congresswoman Laurel Lee, representing Florida’s 15th district, shared a series of statements via social media that underscore her positions on international relations and national security. Her remarks address issues concerning U.S. support for Israel and legislative efforts to combat drug trafficking.

On February 18, 2025, Congresswoman Lee expressed solidarity with Israel by stating "500 days too long. The United States stands with Israel."

In a subsequent post dated February 19, 2025, she highlighted her backing for the Extending Limits of U.S. Customs Waters Act. Lee stated "Keeping Americans safe does not begin and end at our borders." She further elaborated that the act would extend maritime jurisdiction to aid in intercepting drug and migrant smugglers.

Later on the same day, Congresswoman Lee addressed the opioid crisis by promoting her legislative initiative, the OPIOIDS Act. She wrote "Over the last four years, fentanyl has poured into our communities at dangerous levels, putting innocent lives at risk." Her bill aims to bolster support for state and local law enforcement in their efforts to remove drugs from streets.
