On November 19, 2024, Congresswoman Lee expressed her commitment to government accountability, stating: "My colleagues and I are working to hold our government accountable for the American people. I’m proud to support @RepRussellFry's Grant Transparency Act, which aims to make the federal grant application process more seamless and transparent for American families and businesses."

Later that day, she highlighted her support for the Social Security Fairness Act, H.R.82: "The Social Security Fairness Act, H.R.82, will ensure Florida’s firefighters, police officers, educators, and other civil servants receive the benefits they deserve upon retirement. I was proud to support this bill which passed the House last week."

On November 20, 2024, Lee addressed safety concerns for prison staff: "Prison staff should not have to fear for their safety when they go to work, especially harassment and sexual assault from inmates. The Prison Staff Safety Enhancement Act  will take steps to end sexual abuse of prison staff and hold perpetrators accountable."
