The City of Tampa is set to host its inaugural Tech Show, transforming the City Center at Hanna Avenue into a hub of innovation on Friday, June 21. The event, which is free to attend, targets tech enthusiasts, business owners, job seekers, and the general public.

The Tech Show will feature major companies such as CDW-G, SHI, HP, BUP, Imperium Data, Panasonic Rugged, AVI-SPL, Neat, Verizon Mobile, Fortinet, and Pitisci & Associates. These industry leaders will present their latest products and solutions for both business and personal technology interests.

Attendees can expect hands-on demonstrations of advanced technology. This makes it an ideal event for IT professionals and anyone keen on staying updated with technological trends. Additionally, top tech vendors and recruiters like Pitisci & Associates will be present to offer valuable career opportunities in the tech sector.

Local food trucks will also be available at the event to provide refreshments as attendees explore the showcased innovations.

"Tampa's first Tech Show is an incredible chance for our community to engage with cutting-edge technology, explore new career paths or just enjoy a fun and interactive day inside the City Center," said Mayor Jane Castor. "We are committed to innovation in how we serve our city and creating opportunities for our residents."

The Tech Show runs from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Friday at 2555 E. Hanna Ave. A representative from the City of Tampa Technology & Innovation Department—Lead Systems Analyst David Baird—is available for interviews today from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm to discuss the event's offerings. Media outlets can request an interview by emailing media@tampagov.net.
