On June 13, 2024, shortly before 9:30 am, Tampa Police Officers responded to the 1000 Block of East 26th Avenue for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male with upper body trauma. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
While early in the investigation, it does not appear this was a random incident. Additional information will be released when available.
