Today, Mayor Jane Castor, Councilman Alan Clendenin, and other city officials invited the community to join in a special LGBT flag-raising ceremony outside Old City Hall. This event marks the beginning of Pride Month, a time dedicated to uplifting LGBT voices, celebrating LGBT culture, and supporting LGBT rights.
Pride Month, celebrated throughout the entire month of June, is an important time for the community to come together in support of diversity, inclusion, and equality. The flag-raising ceremony will be a demonstration of Tampa's commitment to these values.
