Tampa, FL - Tampa Police have issued a Purple Alert as they search for 20-year-old Kiyonna Myers, who went missing late last night. Kiyonna's family became concerned for her well-being after she made statements that raised alarm. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact them immediately.

Kiyonna Myers, a black female born on October 30, 2003, is described as being 5 feet tall and approximately 105 pounds. Her car was discovered at Ballast Point Park early this morning, prompting officers to focus their search efforts in the area. Tampa Police are determined to reunite Kiyonna with her worried family.

The Purple Alert system, used in Florida, is specifically designed to locate missing adults who have a mental or cognitive disability that does not fall under Alzheimer's disease or a dementia-related disorder. It also covers individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, brain injuries, or any other physical, mental, or emotional disabilities unrelated to substance abuse. The Purple Alert is activated when the disappearance poses a credible threat of immediate danger or serious bodily harm.
