The Tampa Police Department is investigating a homicide at the Beck Apartments, located at 8801 Hidden River Parkway.

On May 1, 2023, just after 2:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the apartment complex after a maintenance worker discovered the body of a deceased adult male. An autopsy on the victim revealed he died as a result of upper body trauma. 

This is believed to be a targeted attack and there is no threat to the public at this time. The investigation is ongoing and any additional updates will be provided via a press release from TPD’s Public Information Office.
