A special thanks to our Tampa General Hospital physicians for a wonderful evening at our Annual Medical Staff Meeting! We were so happy to celebrate and commend all of our physicians for the world-class patient care they provide to our community each and every day.
We also honored our outgoing Chief of Staff, Dr. Krishna Nallamshetty, for his incredible leadership during his 2-year term in the role. After a communal vote, Dr. Nallamshetty will pass the torch to Dr. Murray Shames, who will assume the Chief of Staff position this October. Congratulations also go out to other newly elected Medical Staff Officers, including Dr. Cliff Davis, Vice Chief; Dr. Erika Abel, Secretary-Treasurer; and Members-at-Large Dr. Ryan Murtagh, Dr. Nicole Riddle, Dr. Saurabh Agrawal, Dr. Siviero Agazzi, and Dr. Melinda Murphy.
