The Tampa Police Department says farewell and happy retirement to long-time and iconic police horse, Tank. He was donated to the Tampa Police Department in 2010. Tank has assisted with significant events, from the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, National Championship, and the Gasparilla Parades. As one of our largest horses, he has touched the hearts of many who have met him all over Tampa. Tank is now retiring and will spend the rest of his years with Ret. Mounted Master Police Officer Timothy Pasley. They were once partnered in the Mounted Patrol Unit and are now retirement partners. Thank you for your service to the City of Tampa, Tank!
