In the early hours of June 4, 2022, Tampa Police were dispatched to the report of a subject who had been shot. Officers arrived to find an adult black male in his mid-40's, deceased, on the ground outside the front porch of a residence in the 9800 block of N. Myrtle St.
While early in the investigation, this does not appear to be a random act and all parties have been located and accounted for. Detectives are actively conducting interviews with witnesses. Updates will be provided as they become available.
