Tampa Fire Rescue issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
Engine and Rescue 18 stopped by Sligh Middle Magnet to speak with students in the Sports medical program.
Their teacher is someone who is very familiar with #TFR, retired FF Tony Smith.
The students were engaged with our crews, asking questions about how emergency medicine is handled outside of a hospital. Great job by 18-A!
