On June 13, 2024, at approximately 9:28 a.m., Tampa Police responded to a residence located on the 1000 block of E 26th Ave following reports of a shooting. Tampa, Florida – United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announced that Gabriel Gladman, 23, from Akron, Ohio, pleaded guilty to a 14-count indictment. The charges include eight counts of providing false statements to a federally licensed dealer to acquire firearms and six counts of unlawfully transferring handguns to juveniles. Gladman faces a maximum penalty of 10 years’ imprisonment for each count related to the false statements and one year in federal prison for each count of unlawful transfer. A sentencing date has not been set.
