Congresswoman Laurel Lee, representing Florida's 15th district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, has shared a series of tweets addressing national security and commemorating Presidents' Day. Her social media posts reflect her stance on border security and recognition of past U.S. presidents.

On February 14, 2025, Congresswoman Lee expressed her gratitude towards former President Trump for prioritizing national security through enhanced border measures. She stated, "Border security is national security. Thank you, President Trump, for putting our country first!"

Later that day, she criticized the Biden administration's approach to law enforcement at the border while praising Trump's efforts to empower these agencies. In her words: "The Biden administration kneecapped law enforcement and Border Patrol agents who were ready and willing to enforce our laws and secure the border. On February 17, 2025, Lee turned her attention to Presidents' Day celebrations by acknowledging George Washington's birthday and honoring all individuals who have served as Commander in Chief of the United States.
