Tampa police locate missing teen safely after Christmas disappearance

The Tampa Police Department announced that 15-year-old Adelana Olafemi has been found safe and is being reunited with his family. The department expressed gratitude to the community for their concern.

Earlier, the police were searching for Adelana Olafemi, who had been missing since Christmas night. He was last seen at his home on the 4200 block of E. Ellicott St. Adelana is mourning the recent loss of his brother, Eniola, who passed away on November 17.

Adelana was described as a black male wearing a black shirt and pants when he left home around 11:30 pm. He is 5’6” tall, weighs approximately 150 pounds, and has short braids. Notably, he did not take his medication or cell phone with him.

The Tampa Police urged residents to look out for Adelana and contact them at their non-emergency number if they had any information that could assist in reuniting him with his family.
