City of Tampa reopens emergency call center for hurricane recovery

The City of Tampa is reopening its emergency call center to aid in the recovery from Hurricane Helene. The call center will be operational today, September 30, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and tomorrow, October 1, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Residents can reach the hotline at 1-833-TPA-INFO (872-4636) for information on storm-related issues such as debris removal, construction permits, and other assistance services.

To stay updated on recovery efforts, residents are encouraged to sign up for AlertTampa text alerts by visiting Tampagov.net/AlertTampa or texting TAMPAREADY to 888-777. For Spanish alerts, text TAMPALISTA to 888-777.
