To help alleviate some of the post-storm stress, the City of Tampa will be offering laundry assistance to residents affected by Hurricane Helene.

On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, a Wash Zone will be activated at 5235 South Dale Mabry Highway from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

In partnership with the local non-profit Current Initiatives, this free service is aimed to help those residents whose homes may have been flooded and do not have a place to wash their clothes.

For more information on future laundry assistance events or other storm-related resources, please continue to visit tampa.gov/hurricane for updates.
