The Tampa Convention Center has resumed normal operations following Hurricane Helene. The center, which did not sustain damage from the storm, is set to host the International Boat Builders Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) from Tuesday, October 1 through Thursday, October 3.

This industry-only event attracts approximately 8,000 attendees from the boat-building sector and is expected to generate an estimated $5.4 million in economic impact for the City of Tampa. Hotels in Downtown Tampa are open for attendees, and there are no changes to the event schedule.

"We want to thank the City of Tampa employees who have worked hard to clean up in the aftermath of the storm. Our thoughts are with community members who continue to deal with storm impacts."
