The University of South Florida (USF) Men’s Tennis team is set for a two-match road trip on the West Coast. The Bulls will play UC Santa Barbara on Sunday, February 1 at 3 p.m., followed by a match against Pepperdine on Tuesday, February 3 at 5 p.m.

USF aims to maintain early season momentum after recent performances that have demonstrated depth and competitiveness throughout their lineup. The team recently secured a 4–0 victory over Washington and competed closely with No. 4 Texas, taking several matches to tiebreakers.

The upcoming match against UC Santa Barbara marks another test for the Bulls. Historically, both teams have split four meetings, with USF winning the most recent encounter by a narrow 4–3 margin. Pepperdine represents another strong opponent; USF leads the all-time series 6–1, having won six of the last seven contests, many of which were decided by close scores.

These matches are expected to provide valuable experience as USF prepares for conference play later in the season. Fans can follow updates and live scoring on GoUSFBulls.com.

Head coach Ashley Fisher is in his ninth year leading the program during the 2024-25 season. He has led USF to four NCAA Tournament appearances, including three trips to the second round, and was named American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in both 2017 and 2019 after guiding USF to conference titles in those years.
